Free Registration

Rural Romeos, allows you to register and browse for FREE. Registration requires you to fill in our on line registration form. DON'T USE YOUR REAL NAME AS YOUR USERNAME use a nickname ie: Longhorn, Grains1, Akubra1, Uteman.  Once filled in, Rural Romeos will email you with a registration link to complete your registration.  Make sure you fill in your full member profile as this allows other members to find out more about you. Address details are for administration purposes only and will not be displayed to other members. You can now start browsing for your Rural Romeo or Juliet.

How to Join

Step 1: Terms and Conditions
Before joining Rural Romeos you will be required to read our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. Please read it carefully and if you wish to proceed with your membership you will need to select the accept button and this will take you through to your profile and membership section. Click here to begin registration.

Step 2: Create an Account
This section establishes your contact details. To ensure your personal identity is kept private, we request you nominate a Rural Romeos nickname, which is how other members identify you. Other personal information such as your email address and real name are NEVER published. There are optional fields for your mobile number. Yet again, your mobile number is NEVER divulged. We use our secure technology as the gateway between you and other members, so you're only ever recognised by your Rural Romeos name.

Step 3: About Me
This section allows you to tell others what your favourite interests are, from movies to books to sporting interests. Essentially, this is the first section on determining compatibility.

Step 4: Your photo (optional, but highly recommended)
It's free to upload one photo against your profile.  As we manually approve all photos for appropriate content, please allow up to 48 hours for your photo to appear next to your profile. Members can have a maximum of 8 images. Please only upload tasteful photos, no inappropriate photos will be approved. If you choose not to upload a photo please click here to select from one of our generic images.

Step 5: Confirm your registration
We send a confirmation email to the email address you nominated in Step 2. Please follow the prompts and confirm your registration on the link contained in the email, otherwise your membership will NOT be activated. If you're using Hotmail or Yahoo! Mail, please check your Junk Mail settings to allow mail from ruralromeos.com on your safe sender's list.

Well, that's it. Once you've completed the 5 simple steps above, you can start contacting other members, or they you. Welcome - and we appreciate your thoughtfulness and courtesy in corresponding with members of our network.

Membership

Rural Romeos is FREE to register a profile, upload one photo and browse.  However if you want to access any other features you will need to purchase a membership. Memberships are for 6 or 12 months and start at $55.00. 

 

You can pay for your membership by:

 

  1. Credit Card - Payment for your membership can be made through our secure online system which uses PayPal. To Pay online, please log on in members section and select 'my account' and follow the prompts.  PayPal is FREE when you send money to other parties.
  2. Bank Cheques or Money Orders - Payable to Rural Romeos, mail to PO Box 872 Wahroonga NSW 2076 - include your username & email address for identification. Once we receive your payment your membership will be activated immediately, we will email you confirmation.
  3. Personal Cheques - Payable to Rural Romeos, mail to PO Box 872 Wahroonga NSW 2076 - include your username & email address for identification.  Personal Cheques take 3 days to clear funds, once we receive notification that your cheque has cleared, your membership will then be activated. We will email you confirmation.

Confirm your Account

We ask you to confirm your account by email to verify your that your email address exists. Simply click the link contained in the confirmation email and follow the prompts the website. Click here to resend your confirmation email.

Adding a Photo

  1. Once logged in a "Members Menu" will appear to the right of the page.
  2. Select "Upload Photos"
  3. Down the bottom of the page is browse button, this allows you to search your computer for the photo you would like to add.
  4. Select your photo and click "Open".
  5. Now select "Upload". Depending on the size of the image the upload process can take up to a few minutes.
  6. Your new photo will be displayed on the page.
  7. Click "Enlarge" to preview your image.
  8. Click "Set as Main " to set this photo to your main profile photo, it will be shown on your profile and in search results.
  9. You will be asked to "Crop your Picture".
  10. Click, hold and drag a square around the part of the photo you want to keep. Once you draw the square you can click inside it and move it around.
  11. Click "Crop Picture" when finished.

Deleting a Photo

  1. Go to My Home ".
  2. Select "Manage Photos "
  3. To delete a photo select "Delete" under the photo you wish to remove.

How to contact members

  1. Click "Search" on the menu to search profiles.
  2. Click on a members photo to view their full profile.
  3. Contact can be made through the "Message Me" feature in everyone's profile.

This sends a private message to a member and sends them an email notifying them of your message.

Hot List

Your Hot List is collection of your favourite members.

Kiss List

This list displays people who are interested in contacting you. You can approve this contact by clicking "Accept". This person will now be added to your "Mutual Kiss " list.

Send a Kiss

When viewing a profile you can contact a member by sending an "Kiss ", this lets you contact a member free. The member can now either approve or deny your kiss. When some one is mutually interested you know that the recipient wants to make contact with you. Send them a message by clicking the "Message Me" link in their profile.

How to login

  1. Go to the Rural Romeos homepage: http://www.ruralromeos.com
  2. Top - right there is a " Login" box
  3. Fill in your details and click "Login"
  4. If you have forgotten your password click here to have it resent.

Changing Your Profile

  1. Login from the homepage
  2. Click "My Home" on the menu.
  3. You have 5 pages to edit;
    1. Account Settings - Contains your personal information such as name and email address.
    2. Profile - Is all about you and your interests, this is what will be displayed to the public.
    3. Images - Upload, delete and change photos.
    4. My Match - Details about the person you would like to meet.

Hiding Your Profile

Are you seeing someone? You can hide your account, log in and go to the Home Page. There is an option down the bottom right of the screen. When you hide your profile other members will not be able to see you in search results. A lot of members hide their profile if they are currently dating someone.

Deleting Your profile Permanently

If you would like your profile permanently deleted from the website, please contact us with your request and management will take care of it for you.
